- The eminent Michael Kirby, a retired Australian High Court judge who’s openly gay, told an audience of about 200 legal professionals in Singapore that the country’s gay sex laws could have an adverse impact of the health of gay men who are at higher risk of HIV/AIDS, and it’s “important that they should have equality and dignity.”

- Obedient Wives Club to offer sex lessons on how to pleasure husbands
- Wives who “obey, serve and entertain” their husbands can help reduce social ills such as prostitution and domestic abuse, according to members of The Obedient Wives Club.
- Facebook users have started a group called “We Do Not Want Sexist Nonsense From Global Ikhwan Sdn Bhd” after reading about the Obedient Wives Club (OWC) launched by the organisation.
- When the Playboy Club Sands Macau staged a “Bunny Hunt” for its soon-to-be-opened establishment last year, 600 Bunny hopefuls from around the world turned up to be auditioned. Only 16 made the cut, one of whom was Malaysian model Felixia Yeap. And she did not even have to go through the audition; she was hand-picked by the Macau Club manager.
